New Team Member | Funding & Partnership Officer

DangerPoint is pleased to announce the addition of a new team member. We welcome Lorna Langton as part of the team as the Funding & Partnership Officer!

Lorna has spent all of her professional career working in the public sector, initially supporting vulnerable deaf adults in Cheshire and most recently working with deaf children and young people across Wales. Lorna established an integrated youth service (Youth Vibe) for deaf young people and their hearing peers in 2010 and that, along with recent experience of managing a Big Lottery funded project has developed her skills and interest in fundraising. Lorna qualified as a Youth Worker in 2012 and remains passionate about ensuring children and young people are given opportunities to develop and reach their full potential.

Lorna will be responsible for the development and implementation of the charity’s fundraising and income generation to support the growth of the centre. If you would like to discuss funding opportunities at DangerPoint, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
