When is DangerPoint open to the public?

We are open to the public during our local school holidays, Monday – Thursday from 9.45am (excluding bank holidays). For our latest opening dates and times please head to the Family Day Out section: Booking your visit | DangerPoint

What is DangerPoint?

We are an educational activity centre as well as being an independent charity. The centre offers visitors the opportunity to learn about safety, but not in the way you might think. In short, we are a centre full of fun and interactive activities to keep everyone entertained throughout a visit.

 

Do I need to book my visit?

Yes- bookings are essential to avoid disappointment. You can make a booking by clicking here.

 

Where is DangerPoint located?

We’re located just off the A548 Coast Road, the Talacre Beach exit from the roundabout. Follow Station Road over the bridge and take your first right. Equally, our postcode is CH8 9RL if you are using Maps on your phone. what3words: ///promising.moving.youth

 

Can I bring food and drink?

Yes, you can bring a picnic but we do not have a catering facility on site. We do however sell a small selection of crisps/ chocolate bars and soft drinks and we have ice creams on sale! We advise people bring a packed lunch as there is plenty of room to sit and eat.

 

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, only assistance dogs are allowed on site.

 

Is DangerPoint accessible?

The centre is fully accessible – we have 2 areas which are accessed by stairs but there are stair lifts available. We have lifts around the centre to cater to your needs. Ask a member of staff for assistance and we would be more than happy to help.

 

How much does a visit cost?

Prices range from £4, it depends on which activity you would like to participate in. You can find more information here.

 

Can schools and organised groups visit?

Absolutely! DangerPoint offers a fantastic opportunity for schools or organised groups to visit on educational tours with our highly trained Rangers. We offer a number of different programmes depending on the age and needs of your group and all can be tailored if needed.

 

Are there toilets and baby changing facilities?

Yes, there are toilets, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.

 

Is parking available?

Yes! We have a free customer car park just outside the centre.
