Schools / Organised Groups

DangerPoint offers a fantastic opportunity for schools or organised groups to visit on educational tours with our highly trained Rangers. We offer a number of different programmes depending on the age and needs of your group and all can be tailored if needed.

As a charity, we try to subsidise the entry and transport costs of your visit as much as possible. We do this via corporate sponsorship, our own income generation and applying for support from relevant grants and trusts. Funding will be allocated subject to the terms and conditions of these grants and on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, please do contact one of the team to discuss your needs.

As a safety education centre, DangerPoint offers schools the opportunity to visit the centre and take a structured guided tour around the life-like scenarios. Take a virtual walk through the centre below to see more of what we have to offer:

The centre has been designed to link in with the curriculum, PSE curriculum and Healthy Schools Programme. For further information on how a visit to us can be beneficial to your school, give us a call to discuss on 01745 850414.

But we’re not only for schools, we have a number of different Lifeskills Programmes and we offer a fantastic opportunity for other organised groups such as youth clubs, Brownies, Scouts and Sea Cadets to name just a few. If you have a topic or badge in mind that you’d like to complete on your visit, call us to discuss.

If you’re interested in visiting during the local school holidays with your group or on a family day out, then you can find more information about that on our Danger Detective Pages.
