DangerPoint Research Project

We hosted two students from The University of Chester, Heather & Chloe, who are studying Law and Criminology on their 5 week placement to complete the annual research project during May/June.

They have visited a total of 11 schools to re-test with the DangerPoint quiz from across 5 of the 6 counties in North Wales. During their visit, the students deliver the quiz that pupils take part in during a visit to DangerPoint to learn how much information pupils retain from their visits.

The results were very positive and showed the average pre visit score was 39%, post visit results were 92% and the average re-test scores were 76% which gives a retention score of 82%.

In addition to the quiz, they also conduct one-to-one interviews with pupils to understand what they remember from their visit and whether they have done anything differently because of what they learnt at DangerPoint. You can watch the full video here:
