Your Community, Your Choice Funding

On March 28th we attended a special presentation event held at Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, as one of the winners of the Your Community, Your Choice fund, which provides £60,000 to support grassroots projects across North Wales each year.

The initiative, which empowers local communities and is decided through a public vote, is supported by the North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner, North Wales Police, and the North Wales Police and Community Trust (PACT). The funding comes partly from money seized by the courts through the Proceeds of Crime Act, with the remainder provided by the Police and Crime Commissioner.

This funding will make a significant difference to our Safer North Wales project, allowing us to reach more communities and deliver vital safety education. We’re so grateful to everyone who voted for us and for recognising the importance of the work we do here at DangerPoint.
